Jimmy Buffett in Philly

Will Jimmy played at Citizen Bank Park last night and me and some friends attended it. We showed up at about 4:30PM in parking lot to get in the mood for the show. Heck some showed up at 6:00 AM. We had no problem getting into Stadium via the Third Base Gate because everyone else tried to enter via the FIRST BASE GATE. I guess they saw a line and had to get in it. Where it took us about 5 minutes to walk from car to enter stadium the other gate had a block long line. Why was there not someone out there directing people to the other gates?

I had a nice time had some things on my mind that has to be straitened out but I still had a good time.

The people People I was to meet where all set up as I planned to get there by golfing just up the road at a city golf course (FDR Park) and driving the 1/2 mile to stadium parking lot. But during the day that plan was changed. I called "J" on her cell and as I was getting directions to where they set up I walked right past them, I mean like I was 10 feet from them and walked right past them. They had drinks and food out to have before concert.
Well that is it for now Have to think about getting back to work on Sunday as vacation is over.

Jimmy Buffett concert tomorrow night with someone special to me. When we made plans months ago we had a great thing going but other things came between us. All done by me. It will be nice to see her again and have a nice time at concert. I know there going to be a tailgate party before hand. I will be happy to see her again even if it is for those hours together. After this I don't know if I will be able to see her again. We went out for 10 months, and did things one of use never did before, you know first. She has a busy schedule and I have these wierd work hours. I do hope we can se each other again even if it to have a bite to eat or chat some on-line. When I do she does make me fell warm in-side. BUT I do have to get what got her away from me fixed first if we are to be together again.

One thing was the relationship I have with my ex-wife. we are civil with each other and help each other out. But there are time she acts as thou we are still married, or I her son. Wants to know where I going or where I was. Sometimes when I tell her she says no I wasn't I was someplace else doing something else. Drives me up the wall. Good thing I gave up drinking back in 1981 after the Firetruck I was on crashed and turned over. Never did drugs and don't want to as life is what I want to remember.

Another one was that I never let people close to me know about her. There where a couple in work that knew there was someone but not spacific about it. When she was away on vacation I did miss her alot. I was planning this vacation to spend some quality time with her, but it turned into one without her except for tomorrow night.

Well, I found out where the missing money is and as I subspected Delaware Park charged my debit card when I made the tee time reservation (the time you start playing golf) and I had a comp for the round that I gave them when I showed up. My ex-wife gave me this as a birthday gift this past June. Now all I have to do is straiten it out with them.

"THERE'LL BE THE DEVIL TO PAY" Union Gen Bufford at Gettysburg day 1

Just had to stay around today as my ex-wife needed to go ER because you could not tell where her calf muscle ended and big toe ended. Her whole right lower leg was sweeled up. Well, after 5 hours in ER on a Sunday morning she was sent home. They said it was Fluid in her leg from a earlier injury. Oh BTW she is a RN.

All I did today was watch TV movies, news, baseball and NASCAR. Cant think of last time I saw NASCAR race on TV as I have to work Sundays. I am in retail after working 25 years in Oil Refining. Okay I know about the price of gas but next year $2.80 will be cheap I thinking it could hit $4.00 next summer.

Have to see what tomorrow brings.

My Trip To Tyler Arboretum














Well, another day of vacation. Today I started to go to Historic Philadelphia but on the way could not find what cash I had in bank. Money was missing from bank account and I had an Idea where it was. Was from golf outing 2 days ago. So I changed plans to go to Tyler Arboretum in Media, PA which is close to where I live.

It cost $5.00 this year to walk around the trails. There are 8 trails from 1 mile long to 8 1/2 miles long. The go threw gardens and woods. Some are easy to hike and some are steep.

Today I choose the 2.3 mile long PINK trail as I never hiked that one before. When I go here I usally end up in Ridley Creek State park which is next to Tyler by crossing over into it somehow. Well, today was hot and as you can see from the self pic I was sweating during the hike. I will say this was at the end. I got to see some game birds and deer during the hike. Something I got to see and was not on hiking mape was the ruins of something.

I got the chance to reflect about my life and what I am doing in it. I have recently been dealing with mortality issues as I have out lived an older brother, and my younger brother by 5 years has had a heart attch already. They are both more fit then me but it is something I think about. My mother died when she was 54 but father lived to 68. But the I always kid that I was adopted as I am the only Robert in the family. There are many Thomas and Kenneth to fill a Thanksgiving Day Dinner Table. And we have done that too.

Well I went golfing today at the new couse just opened this year at Delaware Park in Wilmington, DE. It is called White Clay Creek. It normally cost $110.00 for a round with a cart (no walking) and the cart has GPS in it! I shoot a 102 on a par 72 course with I will say is normal for me. I enjoyed it alot. There is water on every hole to deal with. It was odd thou that you dont pass the clubhouse between the 9th and 10th hole. Have some pics of the course.
I just have to learn not to loose my ball in flight when golfing as a single. I will have to repost pic after editing it some.
