Happy Birthday to Myself

    Well, Today is the day I turn the BIG 50. Made it half a century. I got to be on vacation this wek and part of next. I have not worked my birthday since 1975 when I did. The following year I was scheduled but my mother passed away a couple of days before and sort of put a damper on it.

Some years later I was upset because some friends of mine forgot about my birthday and well, I acted foolish looking back on it. I got to read a book a year later and the author said that do not get upset if someone forgets your birthday. It is your birthday so plan what you want to do and if they remmber it thank them.

My father and me were born the same day but of course many years apart, 39 years to be right.

     Last week I bought a pack of Topps Heritage baseball cards that I collect and I was able to find a card like this card in a pack. I was shocked to find it and wondering what it was worth. why, because Topps was to pull the card from release and detroy all the cards. I searched eBay and found about 5 cards offered for sale, A 2006 Topps Heritage #255 Alex Gordon I now wonder should I keep it or trade it away
